Quality oil. OE-grade filters. Complete visual inspection every time. No upsells, ever.
An oil change at most quick-lube places is exactly what they advertise. They drain the old oil, pour in new oil, change the filter, and send you on your way. Sometimes they upsell you on a "premium" service you don't need.
That's not how we do it. Every oil change at Kings Grant Exxon includes the following, with no add-ons and no surprises:
If we find something during the inspection, we'll tell you what we see and send you a photo if it helps, but we won't pressure you to fix anything you didn't come in for. Your decision, not ours.
Oil change pricing depends on three things: oil type, oil capacity, and filter type. A 4-cylinder Honda Civic takes about 4 quarts of conventional oil and a $6 filter. A 6.7L diesel pickup takes 12+ quarts of specialized diesel oil and a much more expensive filter housing. Different jobs, different prices.
The number on this page, $85, is our starting price for a semi-synthetic blend oil change on a typical passenger car. Full synthetic and high-mileage formulations cost more. Larger oil capacities cost more.
We'll quote you exactly when you call or come in. No surprises at the register, ever.
Final price quoted by phone or in person based on your specific vehicle. No add-on fees at the register.
Whatever your manufacturer specifies is what your engine was engineered for. If you've lost track or aren't sure, just bring the vehicle in. We'll look it up.
Older vehicles, typically pre-2010, with simpler engines and shorter oil change intervals. The most affordable option.
A common factory-fill for newer vehicles in the 2010s. A balance of cost and performance.
Required by many newer vehicles, especially turbocharged, direct-injected, or German-engineered cars.
Designed for vehicles with 75,000+ miles to help reduce leaks and prolong engine life.
Modern oil and modern engines have come a long way. Intervals of 5,000 to 10,000 miles between changes are now standard depending on the vehicle.
If your sticker on the windshield says 5,000 miles but your owner's manual says 7,500, go with the manual. The sticker is whatever the last shop decided to write. The manual is what the engineers who built your car specified.
We'll never push you to change oil more often than your manufacturer recommends. That's not how trust gets built.
Oil changes are routine maintenance, which the NAPA warranty does not cover. Every qualifying repair we perform is covered by NAPA's nationwide 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty on parts and labor, honored at any participating NAPA Auto Care shop in the country.
